Lesane is Associate Superintendent of Human Resources for Iredell-Statesville Schools.
“Achieving certification as a professional leader in human capital in education demonstrates a commitment to building capacity in essential human capital standards,” said Tony Bagshaw, Director of Improvement at Battelle for Kids. “Today, it’s critical that school districts are able to recruit and retain top talent to ensure equitable access to great educators. To do this, schools need competent and knowledgeable human capital professionals. The pHCLE certification program is anchored in professional standards that describe the skills that human capital leaders must master to recruit, develop and retain the best talent.
The pHCLE program was developed by Battelle for Kids, in partnership with AASPA, for human capital leaders in pre-K-12 education. The program is anchored in professional standards informed by input from hundreds of educators across the country.
